Yay!
I didn't want to mention anything about it in case it didn't happen...but it did, so now I can say it.
Mike got a new job! He's now the marketing assistant for a bookstore chain here in Milwaukee!
He's still going to go to school part-time to gain more skill, but he has a real, 40-hours-a-week job with room to advance and benefits and the whole shebang.
Congratulations Mike!

that's wonderful news too :) now that he's got benefits, does that mean that you'll be covered under his plan or do you have your own health insurance?
I have my own health insurance. But since he didn't have ANY, this is going to be very nice!

There must be some kind of amazing nexus of job goodness over the midwest right now...Karen is getting a new job too.
And ++rawk on the health insurance...everyone should have it.
