Pictures from the Snowstorm

Today Wisconsin, like most of the country, had some really bad weather. Here in Milwaukee we had a ton of snow, enough to close municipal buildings and even to shut down the bus lines. It was pretty bad.

It's still snowing out there, but here are some pictures of what's happened so far. It's supposed to stop tonight, thank goodness.

This is some of the construction equipment I mentioned in my previous entry about parking tickets. It's sitting below a very pretty snow-laden tree, though.

My poor car! Mike said that we should just dig it out tomorrow since the wind has been making snow drifts all over the place, and any work we do tonight will just be undone. Still, I'm not looking forward to tomorrow's early-morning shoveling. Notice how the snow has reached the front bumper.

Mike's bike. We should have put it in the basement or something. He'll have some rust issues come spring.

So yeah, I'm pretty much done with winter. Bring on spring!

  • Wow... the bike pic is just unreal. Definitely a keeper.

I'm with you, I'm ready for a permanant thaw.

  • What GREAT photos! I agree w/Jen [of course], the bike pic is amazing.

Remember to pull out those photos in July -- when we're complaining of the heat!!

In the meantime, stay warm ;)

  • I thought of you when I heard about the storm out your way. We haven't been hit with a big storm like that yet this winter here. It'll probably hit in the spring, watch.

    Yes, great photos!
