Okay! Let's see. Eight things.

• I adore food. I'm a huge comfort eater. My favorite things include ice cream cake, pizza, twice-baked potatoes, pot pies, and peanut butter cookies. The only reason I didn't put on about 50 lbs from stress eating in grad school was because my apartment was a 25 minute walk from campus, and I went back and forth several times a day.
• I also adore alcohol but I'm a little afraid of it because my grandfather was alcoholic. I've never been completely wasted or blacked out, which is somewhat of a rarity in Wisconsin.
• I like being Catholic because it's almost like a science. You can get help by praying to the appropriate saints, gain forgiveness by following penance, and the Mass has a solid format. It seems very concrete to me.
• I love my legs except for the fact that my legs are nowhere near as tan as my arms. As in, it looks like they belong to somebody else's body. Self-tanning lotion cannot correct this. I never wear shorts.
• Shortly after we moved in together I noticed that Mike walked with his heels slightly elevated so most of his weight was on his toes. This is called toe walking and is sometimes done by children with autism. It drove me crazy. Yesterday I found myself doing the same thing, and I finally realized why we both do it...the floors in our apartment are cold and we both go barefoot constantly.
• I'm really learning to like baseball, but I choose my favorite player based on who I feel sorriest for. Right now it's Brewers closer Eric Gagne.
• I really want curly hair. Mike has it and I'm incredibly jealous. My hair is perfectly straight and totally apathetic.
• I think I'm really closed-off and mysterious, but people assure me that I'm an open book. I still don't quite believe them.
