Nativity Scene

This is a picture of our nativity scene. It's an old one that Mike had before we dated. Notice anything in particular? I did.

"A GI Joe?" I asked.

"He's a medic," Mike said. "He's standing by to give first aid."

"Leave him up long enough for me to take a picture," I said, "so I can blog this."

"Of course we're leaving him up," Mike said. "I'm going to add more so they can establish a safe perimeter."

"Your Joes do not need to establish a perimeter -" I said, but then Mike raised a finger to silence me. When I quieted he said, "A SAFE perimeter."

"Whatever," I said. "We're not leaving him up."

The next time I looked, not only was there a GI Joe, there was also a train friend of Thomas the Tank Engine.
