Etsy
So this weekend I started up an Etsy store.
Don't go look. There's nothing there.
I did it mainly because I wanted to start making crafts again, but I didn't want a bunch of my stuff sitting around my house. I feel bad throwing the stuff I make away so this might be a good way to unload it. And the reason I wanted to start making crafts again is so I can do something other than wait around to get pregnant. There are only so many times I can look at my fertility chart to try and figure out what the heck is going on. So, there we go.
I've been messing around with making pendants and things from polymer clay, and I'd also like to sell some of my photographs. I love taking pictures, and when you take a zillion pictures you're bound to wind up with a few great ones, even if you're an amateur like me. But I'm not sure how that would work since I don't develop or print my own pictures. I'm not sure if someone would be upset if they ordered a picture from a made-by-hand website and flipped it over to see that it was developed at Walgreens. I suppose I could buy a really nice printer and print them at home, but...eh. I also considered selling digital copies of my photos for people to print themselves, but who knows what would happen to my pictures. People could use them for websites, or printing on other things, or anything. I'd rather not have that happen. So we'll see.
Unfortunately one key item I need to finish my stuff isn't sold in any of the craft stores in the area. I'll have to order it online, I suppose. I'm disappointed that I won't be able to really complete anything this weekend, but I guess that's the way it is.
Other than that, though, not much is going on. It's dull.

Dull can be quite good at times.

Congratulations on the store! Mine could use some serious attention *ashamed* but I really like Etsy. I hope it works out well for you!

There are a number of places will give you digital prints without identifying information on the back. I'll see if I can dig up my list for you. Not as cheap as Walgreens, but if you're selling them, that's probably workable.
